Dr. Senthil Arun is a well qualified and trained Orthodontist practicing dentistry for more than 20 years. He has established himself committing to years of dedicated education and clinical training required to set highest standards for clinical practice of dentistry with focus on Orthodontics.

Dr. Arun hails from India and he earned a degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Ragas Dental College, Chennai, India. He excelled in his class and won several awards while in dental school. Upon moving to the United States, Dr. Arun received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with distinction from Medical College of Georgia (now known as Augusta University) in Augusta, GA. To further his education and knowledge, he graduated with high honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. He also completed a specialized post-graduate certification in orthodontics as well as earned a Master of Science (MSD) degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.

To stay on the cutting-edge of orthodontics in order to offer the most advanced treatments, Dr. Arun embraces life-long learning by attending meetings and continuing education courses in orthodontics and dentistry at both national and international levels.

He is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and Midwestern Society of Orthodontists (MSO).

With a solid background in dental education, Dr, Arun serves as a clinical faculty at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at NYU Langone Dental Medicine – Columbia, MO. In this position, he educates and trains pediatric dental residents with orthodontics knowledge at his office in Jefferson City, MO.

He is a preferred provider of Smiles Changes Lives, a non-profit organization that helps children and their families who cannot afford the full cost of braces.

In his spare time, Dr. Arun enjoys reading books of all genres, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He has great interest in electronic gadgets and is very excited to keep his office and himself up to date with technology. Dr. Arun is married to Aarti Arun, dental hygienist and blessed with two boys – Tejas and Shreyas.

Dr. R grew up in Karachi Pakistan, she attended St. Joseph’s College for undergraduate studies and Baqai Medical School for her Dental Doctorate of Surgery. She moved to the United States and graduated from New York University dental school and completed her residency at Yale University School of Medicine. Next Dr. R joined the United States Air Force. She served as a dentist, translator, and community builder while stationed home and during her deployment to the Gulf. Upon completion of her commission she moved to St. Louis to raise her family. She has been an actively practicing dentist since 1995. She has received multiple awards and accommodations internationally.

She has been happily married since 2008, has 2 daughter’s, 2 cats, likes to exercise and loves to travel.

Dr. J. Scott Delaplain is a general dentist based in Arnold, Missouri, with over 33 years of experience in the field. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary's University of Minnesota
in 1987 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Loyola University of Chicago School of Dentistry in 1991.

In the fall of 1991, Dr. Delaplain began practicing dentistry in Arnold, where he continues to serve the community through Matrix Dental Group which is now Pristine Dental and Orthodontics. He offers a comprehensive range of dental services from fillings, extractions to cosmetic dentistry to his patients.

Dr. Delaplain is originally from the St. Louis area. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, traveling, and home remodeling projects. He and his wife have two daughters.

Dr. Melissa Selene Olvera, DDS is a general dentist with over 15 years of experience in both clinical and hospital settings. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2009, where she served as class president. She also holds degrees in Biology and Chemistry from UMKC’s School of Biological Sciences.

With more than 1,500 hours of operating room experience, Dr. Olvera is skilled in complex dental procedures and hospital dentistry. Her work has been published in the American Medical Journal of Otolaryngology, and for nearly two decades, she has volunteered in Guatemala and Honduras, providing care in underserved villages.

Dr. Olvera takes particular pride in helping patients who are afraid of the dentist, turning fear into trust through empathy, patience, and clear communication. She believes a positive dental experience can change the way people care for their health long term. Outside the office, she’s a devoted mom to her six-year-old daughter. They love drawing, painting, and crafting together—activities that reflect the same creativity and
care she brings to her practice.

Jeff Johnson, originally from Idaho, graduated from Washington University School of Dental Medicine and has loved calling St. Louis home ever since. He is experienced in all aspects of general dentistry. He raised his family here and remains deeply connected to the community. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys family time, swimming, reading, watching Law & Order, animals, traveling and the great outdoors.

Born and raised in St Louis . Graduated from MICDS. Then attended BYU where I competed on the Swimming and Diving team. Graduated from BYU with a BS in Sports Medicine Athletic Training. Went on to complete a MS in Sports Medicine Athletic Training at BYU. Married my husband Mark Etherington whom I met on the swim team at BYU. Moved back to St Louis area to attend dental school at SIU-SDM. Completed DMD degree and then continued at SIU-SDM in the AEGD program. I have 3 children. Hobbies include skiing, hiking, and spending time with family in Idaho. Completed numerous half and full marathons. Now compete in Ironman Triathlons. Recently qualified and competed in Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Marbella Spain.
